Special Requirements and Additional Services
Special Requirements
WSBRC can also undertake data searches that are non-standard. This might include:
* Non-statutory sites only
* Protected species only
* A standard request for a different buffer area
* A standard request plus specified additional non-notable species
Additional Services
Site Survey Information
Copies of detailed data for sites identified in the standard search, namely full site description including species and habitats present for a SSSI or County Wildlife Site.
Habitat Mapping
Habitat and land-use data derived from Phase 1, NVC and other field surveys, along with aerial photo interpretation is presently held for around 15-20% of the County on GIS. A map of habitats present within the specified search area can be provided (where available).
Habitat Interpretation
The WSBRC can also undertake Phase 1 style habitat interpretation from Aerial Photographs (dated 2001/2 but soon to be updated with 2005 set) to produce a habitat/land-use map of the search area. The Integrated Habitat System (IHS) has recently been adopted by the WSBRC for survey of County Wildlife Sites and habitat mapping.
