Unusual Shieldbug Record

Reports of an unusual find recently at one of the Trust’s reserves at Upper Waterhay turned out to be of a Bronze Shieldbug, Troilus luridus.
According to the County Sawfly Recorder, John Grearson, who discovered it, this is not often found in Wiltshire, although it is quite well distributed across England.
